Army Cadets is held every Monday night at the Army Cadet Hall on Fore Street behind the coop.

There is a £10 enrolment fee but no subsequent charge is taken. You are also provided with a free uniform.

Our objectives are to provide a secure place for young people aged 12.5 – 18.5. A place where they can feel safe and looked after.

They will also be taught the very basics of military training which demands discipline, and training. Activities such as canoeing, sailing and Duke of Edinburgh Awards are also offered.

Youth Football

The club has three teams who play in the East Cornwall League:- Under 12’s, Under 13’s, and Under 16’s. The club are setting up a new ground at St Winnow, with the aim of being able to play at the start of the 2005 / 06 Season.

New players from 6 years to 16 years old are wanted.

Oasis Youth Group

The OASIS Youth Project is based in accommodation adjoining the Community Centre.

Run by volunteers, its purpose is to provide a warm safe environment for the young people of the community to have fun, socialise and develop their knowledge and skills. Regular club sessions are interspersed with art and music workshops and other activities.

Opening Tuesday evenings from 7 to 9 pm for the music (dj) workshop and Thursday from 7 to 9pm for the Drop-in evening.
